In this section I will endeavour to list most of the Orders and Decorations of the above country that were instituted from 1800 until 1990.

Decoration for the Election of Ferdinand I
After the forced abdication of Alexander I. Prince Ferdinand of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha left Austria on August 9th 1887 and was installed 14th August 1887 as the Prince of Bulgaria and created his first award.
 The 1887 Decoration consists of three classes
 
1st Class Badge Picture This badge is similar to the picture but with with no green enamel in the arms of the cross and in silver gilt. It is worn suspended from the left breast on a ribbon. These were mostly awarded to Officers etc. Only 699 awarded. Badge shown >>>>
 
2nd Class Badge This badge is similar to 3rd Class with with no green enamel in the arms of the cross and in silver. It is worn suspended from the left breast on a ribbon. These were mostly awarded to NCO's etc. Only 1019 awarded.
 
3rd Class Badge This badge is similar to 3rd Class with with no green enamel in the arms of the cross and in bronze. It is worn suspended from the left breast on a ribbon. These were mostly awarded to OR's etc. Only 475 awarded.
