Military Order for Bravery 1897-1914 (1st Type)
The Order was established by Alexander I in January 1880 although the foundation date of the Order was 29th April 1879.
This was the first Bulgarian Order to be founded and to be awarded for exceptional acts of bravery in the field.
This 1897 - 1914 1st type is identified by the a centre star with a cluster of dots with two in line dots each side at bottom of the obverse medallion.
