Order of the Rising Sun.
The Order of the Rising Sun was the first Japanese national order, established on 10th April 1875 by Emperor Meiji as an award to males only.
For exceptional civil and military merit. It comes in eight classes. The 8th class has no enamel at all

Order of the Sacred Treasure
The Order of the Sacred Treasure was  established on 4th January 1888 by Emperor Meiji. For distinguished civil and military merit.
It can be awarded to foreigners and from 1919 to women. It comes in eight classes. The 8th and 7th class has no enamel at all
